Class location: Installation Safety Office, 2nd Floor - Training Room B (down the hall by the soda machines)  for directions, go to Key Locations page

 

The BRC is a three day course.  No class is scheduled on a Federal Holiday.  Due to mission requirements and resources, schedule is subject to change.  The "AIRS calendar" will have the current information, found via Registration Page.  

Each rider must have their own motorcycle, Fort Bragg does NOT provide motorcycles.

Learners Permit - Skill Test Waiver
As of 1 Oct 08 - previously issued NC Skill Test Waiver Card will no longer be issued. (Click here for information) If you have a NC Learners Permit - you will have to pass the NC Skills Test in order to obtain a NC Motorcycle Endorsed License. 
Learners Permit or Endorsement -
You must have one.  NC DMV will encourage you to obtain a Learners Permit, this does not require them to administer a Skills Test.  As of 1 Oct 08 - you will no longer receive a NC Skill Test Waiver Card and will be required to take the Skills Test at DMV.  If you can pass the Skills Test - obtain your NC Motorcycle Endorsed License and schedule for an ERC.  If you are a new rider or re-entry, obtain your Learners Permit and sign up for BRC.  Upon successful completion, you should have the skill to pass NC Skills Test at DMV.

How to Pick Up A Dropped Bike 

Class size; one RiderCoach to six riders or two RiderCoachs to11 Riders.  
Valid drivers license is required.  Having a motorcycle endorsement or motorcycle learners permit, is also required.  "How do I get a learners permit?" - from the state that issued your drivers license, don't have time to "go home" you may transfer your current DL to NC.  There will be a cost and you must relinquish your current DL, there is also a written test.  Click here for link to  NC Motorcycle Handbook
