"It's raining - will you cancel?" = answer on the FAQ page

If Fort Bragg is closed due to weather, classes are CANCELLED.

Your safety is important - if you don't feel safe, don't ride and reschedule - easier than taking you to the hospital and your bike to the shop - both can be a costly decision, be safe - Know B 4 U Ride.

All weather decisions are made at the range by the Rider Coach.

As of August 27, 2009 - these classes are not available to: DoD Contractors.

Soldiers and DoD Civilians must complete one of these courses before operating a motorcycle (PERIOD), no matter where you ride,  on or off the installation.  No matter where or when you ride, you must wear PPE.

Personnel shall not be charged leave to attend the required training, per DoDI 605504  The required MSF BRC and ERC shall be provided at no cost to military and DOD civilian personnel.

Make motorcycling safer and more enjoyable by ensuring access to lifelong quality education and training for current and prospective riders, and by advocating a safer riding environment.

Each rider must have their own motorcycle.

Fort Bragg does NOT provide motorcycles.

I have an MSF Card from "insert post or college" do I have to take it again on Fort Bragg??
No, if you are in possession of a MSF Card - enjoy the ride.

Any MSF Course riders card, that states on the card, that the course meets the standards of the MSF ERC or BRC is acceptable and meets the Army’s standard.    AR 385-10

Never hurts to sharpen your skills - schedule for an ERC - no cost to you and what you learn could be priceless.

LOST Ft Bragg MSF Card - I lost my MSF Card - what do I do?
Has it been a more than 36 months?  Might as well schedule for ERC - records are only maintained for 36 months e-mail (LOST MSF CARD) provide: your name, type of class and date (month & year) class was completed, once research is completed to verify a "replacement" card will be issued, back dated to the date you completed the course.   If you registered on AIRS, return to AIRS and print a copy of your Student Record and bring it to the ISO, Room 226 (same building as BRC Classroom.  We only replace "Ft Bragg issued MSF Cards")
I have a BRC card, do I have to attend ERC??

I have an ERC card, do I have to attend BRC??

No, you need a MSF card - BRC or ERC - one or the other - at this time, there is no requirement to have both.  All it will cost is your "time" the course is FREE and what you learn could save you time and money.

The Fort Bragg standard motorcycle safety rider’s course was changed on 30 April 2007 to the MSF BRC IAW Army policy.  The previous standard was the ERC which is still being offered to those skilled motorcycle riders with previous training and a motorcycle endorsement on their state driver’s license.

Upon successful completing of BRC or ERC, contact your insurance company.  You might be entitled to a discount.  All companies vary and some may require your completion to be recent, if your discount expired, sign up to $ave.
